Instacart offers a lot of promos - some for new members and a lot for existing members - to remind them of the service, get them to come back, get them to be more active, etc.

Basically, how it works is you get matched with a nearby Flip-Mobber (who's already escrowed money and stated what they want), you make the order, have it sent to their address on file, then once they confirm receipt of the goods and you show us the order delivery confirmation from your Instacart App, the escrowed funds are released to you!
